In this role you will have an opportunity to support Advanced Technology team in activities related to new, advanced, technology projects for jet engines - like RISE Program and zero emissions Hydrogen Powered Engine. You will work on mechanical analysis related to multiple module components and testing hardware development. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to support development of new tools and procedures improving mechanical analysis. You will utilize your experience and expertise to identify problems, find solutions and to demonstrate mechanical design as well as stress analysis skills.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Execute the analysis (structural Finite Element Analysis, hand calculations).
Recommend approach to meet the technical and program requirements.
Implement plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitments.
Monitor and effectively communicate projects status, issues and significant developments.
Participate as a presenter in technical reviews.
What we expect from you?
MSc/BSc in Engineering
Experience relevant to indicated position (design engineer, FE analyst)
Knowledge and strong understanding of Finite element Methods principles
Experience with commercial CAD/CAE package required (ANSYS, Hypermesh, NX)
Advanced FEA skills especially in ANSYS
Knowledge of static, dynamic and kinematic analysis
Communicative level of written and spoken English language
Must be independent engineer that executes with minimum guidance
