We are looking for a talented Sales Director in the food and beverage (F&B) industry with a knack for team leadership and a passion for cutting-edge technology solutions. With your extensive experience in F&B and proven team management skills, you'll play a crucial role in driving our sales team to new heights of success. Your team will be selling to Food & Beverage customers, empowering Restaurant owners, managers, head chefs, and servers to make real-time decisions and transact their business in new ways. Oracle offers a full suite of restaurant technology solutions, including mobile order and pay, online ordering, POS, end-to-end payment processing, and restaurant analytics, so you can deliver better business performance and exceptional customer experience. This includes solutions for Table Service Restaurants, Quick Service restaurants, bars, coffee shops, dark kitchens, drive thru and stadiums.

Strategic Leadership : Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Proactive Forecasting : Utilise your forecasting skills to anticipate market trends and align sales strategies accordingly, ensuring consistent growth and success.

People Management : Solid experience managing teams, oversee the performance and development of your direct reports, providing guidance and support to help them excel. You will manage the New Business Team and the Account Management organisation and strategically increase our capacity to drive sales and meet customer needs.

Efficient Resource Allocation : Manage resources effectively, optimizing team productivity and ensuring that targets are met or exceeded.

What You Will Bring:

  • You’ll be a highly motivated independent individual who can adapt to fast-changing situations and lead by example.

  • Proven track record in team management, with experience leading and developing sales teams.

  • Proven ability to sell complex Business Software Applications.

  • Proven track record in Direct Sales and Account Management

  • Ideally, you’ll have a background in providing SaaS based EPOS solutions and related services with significant exposure to technology solutions for one or more of the following sectors; Food and Beverage, Hospitality, Stadiums & Arenas, Retail.

  • Strong forecasting skills, able to anticipate market trends and plan strategies accordingly.

  • A robust network within the F&B industry, providing access to valuable leads and opportunities is preferable

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate your team to achieve their goals.

  • Drive, tenacity, and an abundance of enthusiasm with a large dose of creativity.

Responsibilities

Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. May manage a Regional Manager or Branch Manager. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.
