Responsibilities

The Surface Suzhou team is looking for a hardware PM who will be responsible for leading the product development. You will be responsible for

• Creating and delivering requirements to internal teams and external partners.

• Leading internal teams and external partners to deliver quality products on schedule and within budget by:

• Defining development schedule.

• Managing changes in scope.

• Clearly defining required resources.

• Managing risks throughout the course of product development.

• Communicating program status across functional teams.

• Executing development process, bring clarity on program directions to Microsoft internal stakeholders and external development partners.

• Developing and protecting intellectual property.

Qualifications

Required Qualification

• 1+ year(s) of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

• Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

• Effective strategic leadership.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.Understanding of high-volume manufacturing process.

• High degree of flexibility - willing to fill in the gaps rather than relying on others.

• International travel required.

Preferred Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.

• Solid Display, ME, EE, System Engineering background is a plus.
