The Sustainability Maintenance Representative is required to work in climate-controlled as well as non-climate-controlled areas. Associate is required to lift, stack, and roll full and empty kegs off a dock, truck or the ground. The Sustainability Maintenance Representative is responsible for stacking, wrapping, and managing all used/empty pallets and kegs into designated storage areas using power industrial equipment supplied by United Distributors. He or she maintains the safety/sanitation/security of the logistics environment, and appropriately handles all materials following company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older
High school or vocational school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Six months of experience in a similar position preferred
Experience in operating a pallet jack, forklift and other power equipment preferred
Responsibilities
Maintain the upkeep of the logistics facility
Stack and wrap kegs by brand and size and organize in designated storage areas
Stack and manage pallets by style and size and organize in designated storage areas
Ensure all kegs are properly stacked, secured, and stable
Assist with physical inventories as required
Perform and submit a daily power equipment checklist to the appropriate manager
Report in writing any safety or mechanical problems with the power equipment
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
Ensure trash receptacles are emptied and returned to proper areas
Assist in removing all product from returning delivery trucks and place in Driver Check in area
Load plastic and/or cardboard into the plastic or cardboard bailer
Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements and Essential Functions
Regular, reliable attendance required
Able to safely operate a hand truck, pallet jack and/or forklift, and floor scrubber
Able to stand and walk, reach with arms and hands, lift and carry, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel
Able to perform greater than average lifting (up to 75 lbs), with some overhead lifting required
Able to frequently climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Must have specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision and the ability to judge distance
Must be flexible to perform scheduled and unscheduled tasks
