Robert Half Senior Events Manager in Redmond, Washington

Description

Robert Half Marketing & Creative is working with a busy Puget Sound medical device client that is looking for a Senior Events Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy, planning, coordination, and execution of all U.S.-based events and conferences, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives

  • Manage staffing, shipping, timelines, budgets, and logistics with acute attention to detail, ensuring flawless execution of each event

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure events meet cross-functional needs and achieve desired outcomes

  • Analyze event performance using data-driven metrics to measure success and drive future event improvements/performance

  • Serve as a proactive problem solver, ready to make quick decisions during event planning and execution stages to address challenges efficiently and effectively

  • Coordinate with Sales and Marketing leadership on the yearly event plan and budget and ensure that our client is on track and stays on budget

  • Take charge of all event-related processes: What should set-up and tear-down look like? How are last-minute event requests handled? Etc.

This role is onsite 3 days/week in the greater Puget Sound.

    Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in event management, with a proven track record of executing complex events of all sizes.

  • Experience in the medical device industry.

  • An exceptional organizer and planner who thrives on managing complex projects and meets deadlines with precision.

  • A strong team player who values collaboration over working in isolation, able to integrate seamlessly with diverse teams.

  • A critical thinker who is eager to innovate and find new ways to make the most of our events.

  • Someone who remains calm in the storm and who demonstrates resilience and adaptability, capable of thinking on their feet to solve problems under pressure.

  • A skilled communicator who isn’t too shy to bring in the team for support when needed.

  • Bold and outgoing, willing to ask questions, negotiate pricing, and initiate conversations with event attendees and potential customers.
