WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Visual Merchandising and Styling (VM&S) Coach in Les Halles Store. The role will be based in Paris, and is part of the store team.

The VM&S team is the team that delivers epic consumer experiences led by product, informed by the business and in service of our consumer. Our role is to know what motivates and inspires them. In Visual Merchandising & Styling, we are committed to creating authentic, connected and distinctive premium experience for our consumer.

You will be responsible for VM&S experiences that will elevate the emotion and disruptive power of innovative products in the store. The main task will be managing the VM&S team and implement the global product presentation standards for all the categories and ensure premium execution throughout the store. You will build close relationships with the other store functions, BOH & FOH, and collaborate with territory VM&S team. You ensure that the visual merchandising strategies support the overall business strategy. You will report back to the store Head Coach and in dotted line to the France VM&S team.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Is this you? Here’s what a typical day/week looks like.

You will work daily in store to guide the VM&S team and following the VM&S strategy for NSO. You will build together with the Head Coach and AHC strong relationships to meet the store objectives. This will go hand in hand with daily operational tasks.

  • Manage implementation, store standards, maintening retail brand elemnts. Set up executions, new collections and launches

  • Have city influencers and city fashion knowledge to contribute to the building of the looks and executions in general – city relevancy

  • Manage employees and sets individual goals that link to overall VM and business priorities. Coaches staff, supports development, and drives performance management, recognition and rewards.

  • Monitor stores to ensure visual standards are met and product presentation is consistent; facilitate feedback process with VM&S managers and store teams

  • Execute training strategies to ensure store staff have adequate knowledge of visual standards and visual merchandising techniques

  • Analyzing business results and work in partnership with floor managers to do relevant VM proposal

  • Develop strong presentation and training skills within the team

  • Influences others through persuasion, ability to deliver relevant information with confidence and build a strong network of relationship

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role you will partner with store VM&S and leadership teams, VM&S and Consumer Direct Marketing Teams in City and EHQ, Retail Business teams, as well as functional teams in spaceplanning and other project teams.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Proven work experience as a visual merchandiser for 4+ years

  • Solid experience in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilisation

  • VM&S fleet management experience, or coaching and management experience

  • Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practises

  • Ability to drive processes and share visions to wider stakeholders

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Proficiency in English

  • Creative and innovative thinker

  • Lead presentation in front of large group of people
