Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Video Editor based in The Twin Cities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of video production and editing, ensuring high-quality output.

• Refresh and update digital assets in line with brand guidelines.

• Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Adobe Premiere, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.

• Maintain high attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring all content aligns with brand standards and goals.

• Develop long-term skills in content creation, video shooting, and scriptwriting for commercials and videos.

• Uphold a self-starter attitude, taking initiative in the creation and execution of new ideas.

• Support marketing and marketing production efforts, contributing to overall team goals and objectives.

• Utilize design, graphic design, and video editing skills to create engaging, visually appealing content.

Requirements • Proven experience in a Video Editor role or similar capacity

• Proficient in design and graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite

• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio

• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages

• Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing

• Creative mind and storytelling skills

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple editing projects

• Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography or related field is advantageous

• Willingness to keep up to date with the latest industry trends and editing software. Innovation starts with people.®
