Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) - Applied Materials Ireland
12-month Fixed Term contract
Working for a busy, growing US high tech multinational with 230 employees in Ireland and providing support into other North European Countries. Reporting the HR Country Manager in Ireland the HR Business Partner will work in close partnership with the other key HR disciplines (Reward, Talent and L&D) to ensure programmes and processes delivered by HR are aligned with business and HR strategies.
Reporting to the Head of HR for North Europe, this person will be part of the North Europe HR team, based at our office in Maynooth, Co. Kildare and will manage with the help of remote HR Shared Services team Human Resources Life Cycle Events, immigration and benefits for the Ireland Organisation.
You will be:
Working with HR & business leaders to support design and delivery of key Human Resources initiatives.
Managing HR processes (disciplinary, learning and development, sickness absence and rewards) with responsibility for the coaching of managers in the implementation of company policies and procedures.
Delivering HR updates to employees and managers through roundtable and all employee briefings.
Managing the onboarding process of new candidates - key point of contact for new hires and co-ordinating induction.
Active in process improvement and work standardisation across the region – active in documentation and movement of high volume back-office work from local HR to HR Shared Services.
Providing key HR metrics/data and insights to the business.
You will have:
Exemplary inter-personal skills with an approachable style as well as the ability to confidently and sensitively partner with employees and manager at all levels of the Organisation.
HR qualification or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written English.
Full driving licence and own car.
Ability to travel internationally, on occasion and when required.
3 – 5 years of experience in a HR Business Partner role in Ireland and a broad understanding across different areas of Human Resources in Ireland.
Excellent MS Powerpoint and Excel knowledge.
